Requirements

10+ years of experience in chemical or process manufacturing
Deep knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and ISO 31000:2018
Expertise in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, FMEA, SAP QM
Process-driven and detail-oriented professional
Ability to work with no supervision and high decision-making authority
SME-level knowledge of SAP QM module and integration with other systems
Experience with quality tools including CAPA (5-Whys, 8Ds, Fishbone), SPC, SQC, Gage R&R
Proficiency in maintaining applications like CarProd, CarRaw, NextDay

Responsibilities

Act as SME on site quality systems and procedures, driving standardization, compliance, and alignment with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 31000:2018, and IATF 16949
Develop and implement SOPs, Work Instructions, Control Plans, and Audit Ready Documents
Maintain the quality management system, review quality manual and procedures, and recommend improvements
Facilitate management review meetings and ensure action closures within timelines
Maintain and optimize SAP QM module for quality planning, NPI, traceability, and data integrity
Ensure SAP QM integration with other modules and external systems; provide technical support to power-users and other Huntman sites
Generate and analyze SAP data for process capability, SPC, SQC, Gage R&R, material non-conformance; provide reports as needed
Maintain Conroe critical shipping-related applications (e.g., CarProd, CarRaw, NextDay)
Serve as site representative for ISO 9001, 17025, 14001, 31000, and customer audits; ensure audit preparedness and full compliance
Manage CAPA processes (5-Whys, 8Ds, Fishbone); monitor trends and KPIs; present data for decision-making
Facilitate FMEA across products, processes, equipment, and tools; act as "quarterback" for Site FMEA
Develop and implement risk management tools, training materials; train staff on FMEA and risk-based thinking
Ensure alignment of FMEA with other core quality tools for comprehensive quality planning and process validation
Lead cross-functional FMEA teams for PFMEA and DFMEA on new processes, products, and plant changes
Manage FMEA lifecycle as living documents, updating for changes, non-conformances, complaints, and lessons learned; ensure revision traceability and integration
