Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Biotechnology / CTF or another Scientific field
  • Prior work in a laboratory setting (GMP QC laboratory experience beneficial)
  • Proficient in conducting routine chemical and biotechnological analyses: HPLC (essential), UV, Karl Fisher, pH, osmolarity, conductivity, density, ELISA, DLS
  • Professional knowledge of English and Italian languages
  • Good knowledge of Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Work on a rotating shift basis (three-shift work, including days/weekends)
  • Operate and monitor laboratory equipment used for analyses
  • Perform chemical and biotechnological In Process Control (IPC) analyses and review data using current analytical techniques, notifying supervisor of irregularities
  • Conduct essential tests and maintain equipment in line with current analytical methodologies
  • Issue and review laboratory documentation
  • Prepare reagents and standard substances, and perform related checks as required by current SOPs
  • Participate in the evaluation of materials to be purchased for analytical activities and related documentation
  • Maintain instruments, materials, and the work environment, informing supervisor of irregularities
  • Manage waste disposal and any necessary deactivation
  • Contribute to meeting designated benchmarks and objectives as instructed by the supervisor
  • Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety Standards
