Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance programs
  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements for REACH, RoHS, EU POPs, and USA EPA TSCA
  • Experience identifying high-risk substances, materials, and components in electronic products
  • Understanding of materials testing methods like XRF, FTIR, and GC/LC MS
  • Experience supporting ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) systems
  • Effective team player, comfortable working with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in data analysis and integration
  • Good writing and reading skills in English

Responsibilities

  • Lead material compliance testing and coordination
  • Cross-function work with stakeholders and address any material compliance risks
  • Review substance test reports and justify material compliance
  • Team management and mentor newcomers for testing
  • Equipment calibration and gage R&R across different supply chain
  • Due diligence management in the supplier chain
  • New legislation tracking and developing material testing procedures
  • Continuous development in testing and system robustness
  • Communicate with third-party labs and drive cost-saving initiatives
