Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in environmental compliance programs
Strong knowledge of compliance requirements for REACH, RoHS, EU POPs, and USA EPA TSCA
Experience identifying high-risk substances, materials, and components in electronic products
Understanding of materials testing methods like XRF, FTIR, and GC/LC MS
Experience supporting ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) systems
Effective team player, comfortable working with cross-functional teams
Proficient in data analysis and integration
Good writing and reading skills in English

Responsibilities

Lead material compliance testing and coordination
Cross-function work with stakeholders and address any material compliance risks
Review substance test reports and justify material compliance
Team management and mentor newcomers for testing
Equipment calibration and gage R&R across different supply chain
Due diligence management in the supplier chain
New legislation tracking and developing material testing procedures
Continuous development in testing and system robustness
Communicate with third-party labs and drive cost-saving initiatives
