Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Minimum 8–12 years of related experience in Estimating and/or Finance
Experienced in and knowledge of MS Office Suite (intermediate Excel skills required)
Strong project management skills including organizing, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet proposal milestones
Working-group oriented with ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret complex data, and develop solutions to a variety of complex problems
Analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong computer skills
Ability to work in an office environment (constant); required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (constant)
Qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR and EAR, or eligible for export license approval

Responsibilities

Reviews Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications/requirements and adherence to company policy
Provides regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and presents cost estimates to management, customer representatives, and government audit agencies
Prepares and validates cost estimates for sustainment, engineering and manufacturing labor, materials, subcontracts, vendor data, parts, and equipment
Identifies cost and price risks and applies to estimates where applicable
Supports DCAA audits and assists with contract negotiations as necessary; liaises between operations and other support organizations for estimating instructions and pricing
Performs analysis of cost estimates identifying inconsistencies and issues
Develops different cost estimation projects and procedures for final approval by management
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead)
Other duties as assigned
