Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or have equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity with at least 3 years focused on network security is required. Strong experience in network security architecture, design, and operations, particularly within complex SaaS environments, is preferred. Proficiency with firewalls, routers, switches, IDS/IPS, SASE solutions, cloud networking, infrastructure as code, process automation, and wireless networking is essential.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Network Security Engineer will be responsible for securing CDK's network infrastructure, including perimeter, corporate, data center, cloud, and third-party networks. This role involves contributing to the development and implementation of the network security strategy, establishing and enforcing network security standards, and designing, building, implementing, and operating network security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS. The engineer will also develop and implement zero trust network segmentation, design cloud network security strategies, and automate network infrastructure deployment using infrastructure as code. Additionally, responsibilities include developing and operating processes for security configuration changes, collaborating with Security Operations for effective monitoring and response, and providing 24x7 tier 2/3 support for network security technologies.
