Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related engineering field, along with at least 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, specifically with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies. They should have in-depth experience with Kubernetes, Python, Bash, and the broader cloud native infrastructure stack, including tools like Helm, Rook, FluxCD, Argo, ClusterAPI, and Cilium. Furthermore, candidates must have experience operating in large-scale, business-critical Linux environments, both in cloud (preferably AWS) and custom data centers, and be comfortable with on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

As a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer - Kubernetes, the individual will be responsible for helping to take CrowdStrike’s Kubernetes platforms to the next level, ensuring the reliability of platforms operating at massive scale, and working effectively with both local and remote teams. They will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of Kubernetes infrastructure, utilizing open-source projects commonly found in large-scale deployments, and providing expert opinions on platform reliability. Additionally, they will manage on-call shifts and communicate effectively with the team.
