Requirements

Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of C++ and Windows OS Kernel Development, along with strong low-level OS internals experience in Windows, Mac OS, or Linux. Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions, and system performance is required, as is experience working with teams to ship major features and releases. The ability to lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team is also essential. Preferred qualifications include OS system expertise in core concepts and subsystems, knowledge in security, a strong background in scalable, light-weight, and highly performing systems, familiarity with Agile processes, and experience with source control systems like Git.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will provide partnership in the Windows kernel mode sensor development team, focusing on architecture, strategy, and building next-generation Anti-Virus and Enhanced Detection and Response Security Software. Responsibilities include developing new product concepts, supporting development teams in designing and building cross-platform software for Windows, Mac, and Linux, and owning features from design to delivery. The engineer will also participate in product demos at the end of sprints and collaborate with multi-functional teams in various locations.
