Position Overview:

CrowdStrike, a global leader in cybersecurity, is seeking a Senior Engineer with a passion for quality, specializing in Web UI test automation. As a Front End SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal testing and release of our Falcon product, contributing to an environment where quality is ingrained in the company culture. You will collaborate closely with UI Engineers, UI Test Framework Engineers, and other SDETs, focusing on customer experience and bringing valuable insights throughout the development process.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Test Planning: Think strategically about test planning and execution for automation tests to ensure quality within your team and across the organization.
• Feature Verification: Verify component, integration, and application-level features to ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance meet our quality standards.
• Framework Development: Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools that are reusable and scalable, with a focus on end-to-end testing and product performance.
• UI Automation Framework: Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of a scalable and efficient UI automated testing framework.
• Problem Solving: Build elegant, robust, and reliable solutions for complex technical problems.
• Requirements Review: Review UX Design mockups, documents, and requirements to understand feature components, details, design, and functionality.
• Technical Design Review: Review engineering technical design documents and requirements. Collaborate with Engineering to create plans and strategies for building in testability.
• Tooling and Environment: Build reliable and easily consumed tools, frameworks, and environments for yourself and peers to build upon.
• Contribution to Existing Solutions: Contribute to existing tools, frameworks, and related solutions.
• Test Coverage: Increase and improve our automated test coverage.
• Feedback: Deliver and accept feedback with grace and courtesy.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with UI Engineering to determine the root cause of issues and add automation quality improvements to prevent future problems.
