Candidates should have experience building user-centric and scalable UI frameworks and design systems, along with expert knowledge of web standards and front-end engineering tools including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, REST API, GraphQL, TypeScript, and Node/NPM. A good understanding of Cloud Technologies, end-to-end delivery of data-intensive SaaS products, and experience with Accessibility (a11y) best practices and localization/internationalization (i18n) are required. Experience with front-end frameworks like React/Next.js, Vue, Ember, or Lit is a plus, as is knowledge of CI/CD best practices. Strong communication skills, comfort with presentations, and advocacy for UX consistency, accessibility, and empathy for the end user are also necessary. Experience with micro front-ends and web components for architecting framework-agnostic applications is a bonus.
The Senior Front-End Engineer will drive the technical strategy for the front-end architecture, focusing on flexibility, scalability, security, and performance. They will take ownership of key front-end areas in the new console product, becoming a subject matter expert. This role involves providing direction and recommendations on emerging trends and technologies through benefit and risk assessments, offering thought leadership, and mentoring engineers. Collaboration with backend engineers, product designers, and product managers is essential, as is advocating for UX consistency, accessibility, and end-user empathy.
