Requirements

Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. They should have experience scaling backend systems, including sharding, partitioning, and horizontal scaling, along with a deep understanding of distributed systems, multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies.

Responsibilities

As a Sr. Engineer, Backend - Channel File Systems, the individual will design and implement our proprietary Cloud Protocol in close collaboration with the Falcon Sensor teams across various platforms such as Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android. They will troubleshoot and pinpoint system failures across a pipeline of services, ensuring the scalability and performance of CrowdStrike’s systems, and contribute to engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, and resilient architecture, while also working as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
