Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain strategic partnerships with external collaborators for rapid design and development of drug substance and drug product for pre-clinical/clinical phase assets, fostering collaboration and enabling seamless transitions across Discovery and Manufacturing organizations
  • Ensure alignment by working closely with cross-functional leaders across Lilly CMC, Quality, Procurement, and Safety to translate PRD/SMDD strategic requirements into actionable results with external partners
  • Drive implementation of novel technology by integrating with leadership and technical staff at CDMOs to transfer novel SMDD technology for GMP production and achieve speed and flawless execution
  • Champion operational excellence by monitoring capacity, quality, and performance in alignment with business contracts, performing trend analysis, and developing/driving governance of external operations with CDMOs
