Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, and hold a minimum of 10 years of experience in supplier quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and AS9100 is required, along with experience in root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action (CAPA) methodologies. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams is essential, as is experience with supplier audits and performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Director of Supplier Quality will direct the Supplier Quality function enterprise-wide, ensuring processes align with the strategy and vision for supplier quality management. This includes managing performance measurement systems, key metrics, and business processes, and directing a global/regional/site-level Supplier Quality team to ensure resource allocation and governance. The role involves minimizing the cost of poor supplier quality through proactive initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive supplier performance.
