Requirements

Extensive experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud
Deep understanding of DevOps best practices, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), and cloud-native systems
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines
Strong focus on scalability, reliability, and security in cloud infrastructure
Strong English language proficiency
Experience working with remote/distributed teams across North America and Latin America
Ability to thrive in distributed teams and collaborate effectively across disciplines
Passion for mentoring junior engineers
Strong communication skills
Based in Latin America, preferably aligning with PT or ET timezones (Santiago, Chile preferred for hybrid/remote)

Responsibilities

Design cloud infrastructure components (network, compute, storage, orchestration, security etc.) based on application architecture and requirements (typically containerized microservice applications)
Build and deploy infrastructure components using Infrastructure as Code platforms such as Terraform
Set up CI/CD pipelines
Mentor other team members on good practices and problem resolution
Stay current with and adapt to emerging technologies, infrastructure, and frameworks to maintain industry-standard systems and processes
Serve as the ultimate subject matter expert (SME) during incidents, support the team on resolution and root cause analysis
Architect, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support modern Composable digital platforms
Streamline deployments and enhance operational efficiency in a fast-paced, globally distributed team
