Experience in data governance, privacy, and compliance operations

Responsibilities

Support execution of operational processes for Data Governance, Privacy, and Compliance, including audit readiness, policy implementation, regulatory alignment, and stewardship coordination
Assist in managing workflows tied to data classification, retention, access, and usage, ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulations
Serve as a liaison between Governance, Legal, Privacy, and Engineering teams to implement scalable compliance controls across data platforms
Document and maintain standard operating procedures, governance playbooks, and recurring compliance reporting deliverables
Coordinate issue tracking, control remediation, and regulatory obligations across environments like Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
Partner with platform and regional teams to operationalize metadata requirements, align data use with classifications, and escalate inconsistencies
Monitor and report on governance KPIs and metrics to track policy adherence and audit findings
