Requirements

  • 15+ years of Process Safety core functions experience (including PHAs, HazOPs, LOPA, SIL Target assessment, Facility Siting, Dispersion analysis modeling, and Incident Investigation leadership)
  • Knowledge of Process Safety concepts
  • Expertise in relief system design and relief system design verification
  • Experience with relief effluent handling systems (safe discharge location concepts for flammable, combustible, and toxic releases)
  • Competency in fire risk assessment
  • Proven communication skills (written and verbal in English)
  • Desirable: Additional languages

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for the Global Process Safety Center of Excellence
  • Impact the advancement of the Global Process Safety Division Support Plan, Governance, and Programs
  • Lead/direct groups of PS subject matter experts, interacting at all levels of EHS and manufacturing organizations
  • Influence change and promote PS as a core organizational expectation
  • Define a vision for the PS organization, strengthening existing programs
  • Participate as an internal and industry resource in the PS profession
  • Engage with EHS and Engineering professionals globally
  • Assist facilities with SIL target assessments, EHS Criticality Assessments, Alarm Management, and Process Safety Lifecycle
  • Implement PS programs and management systems, including development of implementation plans and schedules
  • Develop and implement communication plans with facilities
  • Schedule and conduct the implementation of PS programs, reporting on performance
  • Provide guidance and facility program deployment, including integration
  • Assist facilities with fire risk assessments
