Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience will also be considered)
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
Demonstrated laboratory experience and hands-on skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating strong collaboration and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, simulation, and optimization of ion optics components for FIB systems
Conduct experiments using dual-beam microscopes to test and validate the performance of FIB optics, including beam profiling, current density measurements, resolution testing, and other relevant evaluations
Develop and implement automation protocols for experimental procedures and data acquisition to enhance efficiency and accuracy in testing processes
Analyze experimental data to evaluate the FIB performance, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the development of new methodologies
Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations on findings, methodologies, and proposed improvements
