Responsibilities

Develops new protein downstream purification processes
Improves existing manufacturing processes with low reproducibility
Develops and implements scale-up of protein downstream purification
Plans and performs experiments
Performs biochemical and physicochemical analysis of proteins
Troubleshoots by analysing batch record and quality control data
Conducts stability studies of proteins
Develops analytical methods for characterization of proteins
Orders reagents and instruments needed for development activities
Manufacturing documentation creation and update
Investigates customer complaints
Is responsible for initiating and documenting process changes
Actively uses LEAN tools
Preparation and maintenance of equipment
