Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a Master's or PhD being a plus. They must have at least five years of relevant experience and a proven track record of building large-scale distributed systems. Deep expertise in Python or C++ is required, along with familiarity with Linux-based operating systems and experience with machine learning, NLP, or computer vision being a significant advantage. US citizenship is mandatory.
Responsibilities
The Sr. Back-End Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and envisioning innovative features for Mirage, collaborating with scientists, engineers, and product managers. They will take ownership of major parts of the software and ship features, balancing quality, maintainability, and speed. Additionally, they will contribute to building scalable back-end systems, services, tools, and APIs that power the company’s product.
