Candidates should have customer-facing contact center experience, including building integrations across WFM, CRM, and contact center solutions. Experience with communications protocols and APIs like WebRTC and SIP is necessary, along with hands-on scripting/coding in languages such as Python, Java, C#, .NET, or Node.js. Strong communication and presentation skills are required to engage with executives, IT management, and customers. Proficiency in API integration, troubleshooting, and debugging is essential. Experience with Cloudformation, Contact Flow Design, Lambda Integration, Lex Integration, and Call Center Routing is expected. Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and CodeDeploy is needed. A solid understanding of Contact Center architecture, technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting experience is required. Advanced knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture is crucial, as well as familiarity with Salesforce and Salesforce Service Cloud. Knowledge of other contact center platforms like Genesys is also beneficial.
The Sr. AWS Consultant will support customers in adopting Amazon Connect solutions, ensuring successful implementation and positive client outcomes. They will conduct technology assessments and audits to identify opportunities for moving to the CCaaS AWS Connect Platform, aiming to improve agent experience and productivity. The consultant will educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions to ensure cloud deployment success. They will facilitate business process reviews with customers to understand requirements and challenges, assisting in documenting these needs for solution design. Responsibilities include translating high-level business goals into actionable user stories for development teams, acting as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, and communicating technical concepts clearly. The consultant will work with Solution Architects to review and approve Solution Designs, ensuring best practices are followed. They will also collect business requirements and collaborate with Solution Engineers, Solution Architects, and Practice Leads to generate estimates and timelines for Statements of Work, and deliver customer end-user training and documentation.
