Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate financial results
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in cost accounting and project management
  • Broad financial and accounting knowledge and business acumen acquired through a 4-year degree program and related work experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to present relevant information to management
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office suite, PeopleSoft, HFM, TM1/Cognos, SAP, Clarity PPM, and other similar systems used in financial reporting
  • Experience with business intelligence analytical tools to interpret data, perform analyses, and communicate financial information
  • Knowledge and experience in Power BI reporting is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, highly flexible and adaptable to change, with proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively and build relationships in a geographically blended environment (North America and Manila, primarily)
  • 10+ years of collective experience in general and cost accounting, financial planning and analysis, management reporting, procurement, project management and analysis, and other relevant finance-related functions. CPA is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Handle complex financial analysis, calculation of forecast/plan, reporting, and projects for Technology Business Units, including expenditures, variance research, trend studies, journal entries, procurement transactions, and financial reporting trends
  • Responsible for, or assist with, monthly/quarterly reporting processes, including forecasting, P&L variance analysis, and preparation of reports and presentations to management on key business factors driving financial performance, plus supplement reports for business partners
  • Assist in annual planning and forecast, supporting the business unit for preparation, timeliness, and integrity of the budget, and proactively providing recommendations impacting key business decisions
  • Assist in submission of Technical Services invoices, processing of cost chargebacks, and month-end close process including reclassifications and adjustment entries
  • Work closely with North America-based partner on knowledge transfer and general collaboration
  • Own and improve expense reporting views in recurring deliverables
  • Develop strong relationships and closely coordinate with partners in Manila and other locations to carry out responsibilities
  • Work closely with Team Leader and Manager to identify process improvements enhancing team productivity and efficiency, and develop financial/business metrics vital to stakeholders' decision-making
  • Own and participate in special projects and ad hoc requirements
  • Contribute to production of other reporting requirements for Technology Finance and Corporate Support Services functions as needed
