Responsibilities

  • Ownership in advancing multiple research projects to advance injection physiology understanding while collaborating with diverse teams and engaging with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and champion scientific or technical breakthrough approaches to address complex problems
  • Planning and implementing experiments to support product development across novel drug delivery platforms and technologies
  • Understand delivery and device strategy; identify opportunities and obtain support for organizational strategy or scientific direction linked to business strategy
  • Identify scientific challenges, drive assessment of options, and proactively implement value-added solutions
  • Generate new ideas and evaluate novel drug delivery methodologies, including local delivery, controlled release, and sustained release systems
  • Identify and evaluate potential areas for improvement of the patient experience within therapeutic areas
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate drug delivery systems into drug development programs
  • Engage with the external scientific community to enhance internal research efforts and identify collaboration opportunities
  • Effectively represent area of expertise on multi-disciplinary teams in both internal and external venues
  • Develop and mentor others
