Requirements

  • Planning: Tactical, Strategic - Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan
  • Analytical Thinking - Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
  • Effective Communications - Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
  • Judgment and Decision Making - Knowledge of the decision-making process; ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of financial analysis and planning for the East Peoria manufacturing facility, including the Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet statements
  • Provide insights on the financial results of the business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Implement new tools and analytics to continuously improve financial analysis and business insights
  • Drive effective and strong coordination with partners across the business
  • Lead financial analysis, providing business insights in processes like target costs, cost monitoring, investment analysis, and sourcing studies
  • Implement new tools and analytics to continuously improve business partnering
  • Establish and communicate internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley documentation requirements to all facility personnel and ensure high integrity financial reporting through maintaining a strong control environment
  • Participate in strategy development to drive improved financial and operational performance and facilitate strategic business unit planning for upper-level management
  • Develop the best team through coaching, training & development, and career planning
  • Lead a global team of four financial analysts, including two direct reports
  • Provide financial leadership and business decision support for the East Peoria manufacturing facility, including business and manufacturing planning, financial planning & analysis, investment analysis, internal controls, and product costing
  • Interact with and present to senior leadership
