Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
4+ years of accounting experience (audit, consulting, and/or corporate accounting)
2+ years of experience as a Senior Auditor or Senior Accountant
Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley-compliant environment
Strong understanding and proficiency of U.S. GAAP
Advanced Excel skills
High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work with limited supervision
Excellent oral and written communication ability
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with a variety of personnel both internally and externally
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or equivalent certification
Big Four public accounting experience
Experience with QAD software
An eagerness to learn and take on challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment

Responsibilities

Assist with the month-end close processes, including but not limited to preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, inventory and cost accounting, and close documentation
Review the accuracy and timely transaction processing for fixed assets, leases, debt and other general accounting transactions
Assist in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Assist FP&A with trend and account analysis for internal distribution
Support SOX / corporate internal controls compliance efforts, which includes evaluation, development, implementation, execution, and monitoring of controls and systems
Assist with audits, including preparing work papers for the auditors and analyzing data, and collaborate with internal team and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
Other duties as mutually agreed upon to make this job a career building experience
