  • Experience with activity-based costing or resource tracking methodologies to support operational efficiency and cost transparency

  • Background in shared services or multi-site operational environments, with an understanding of centralized finance functions
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, including experience with variance analysis and performance reporting

  • Exceptional interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills; able to influence and partner across departments

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements that reflect business performance and comply with GAAP and Statutory accounting principles (60%)
  • Record and process monthly and quarterly journal entries to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data (60%)
  • Perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner (60%)
  • Prepare and reconcile cash accounts for designated clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal controls (60%)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure financial reporting supports business needs and audit readiness (60%)
  • Assist in the planning and execution of accounting activities related to special projects and initiatives (20%)
  • Conduct research on complex accounting issues, including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other regulatory requirements (20%)
  • Provide recommendations based on findings to support accurate and compliant financial practices (20%)
  • Participate in the preparation and distribution of internal and external financial reports (10%)
  • Support the development of financial analyses that inform business decisions and ensure compliance with reporting standards (10%)
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate recurring accounting processes, leveraging tools and technology to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort (5%)
