Requirements

  • Graduate level with an Electromechanical or Mechanical Engineering degree (or finishing 3rd year of degree course)
  • Strong interest in car racing (simulation racing is fine)
  • Basic understanding of motor, motor control, position/angular sensing, load cell
  • English communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Aspiring eRacing Enthusiast (ACC, GT7, etc.)
  • Pro-E Creo skill
  • Knowledge of prototyping, material, tooling, and molding
  • Interest in design and technology
  • Being a gamer

Responsibilities

  • Review current product mechanism design in the market and understand each product parameter
  • Conduct extensive prototyping based on parameters to validate output (mechanical and electrical prototypes)
  • Use measurement and testing equipment to support output (e.g., force measurement, drop test)
  • Organize user testing and qualification
  • Summarize and report findings from the study
  • At internship end: Deliver summary parameters of analysis and output of user test, plus a fully functional prototype to demonstrate parameters
