Requirements

Candidates must possess an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and at least one year of experience providing IEP-directed therapy and evaluations in a school setting, excluding a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). They should have experience in IEP meetings, case management, and completing educational eligibility determinations and comprehensive reports, along with strong communication skills to engage children from diverse backgrounds. Comfort with technology and virtual telehealth platforms is also required, as is availability during school hours. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Speech-Language Pathologist will conduct SLP evaluations and deliver direct services to children, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), continuously monitor each child's progress and adjust strategies accordingly, effectively communicate with parents, staff, and students regarding progress, complete essential documentation for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations, and meet with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss student needs and interventions.
