Responsibilities

Monitoring and checking gross and demand calculations, accounting for short-term changes in the production program for JIT/JIS parts
Monitoring deliveries and dates according to the delivery schedule in coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouses
Checking sub-/overstocks of components by JIT/JIS suppliers using available IT systems
Independently defining and maintaining relevant master data and pre-series parameters for JIT/JIS
Ensuring supplier information for model maintenance and projects regarding pre-series JIT/JIS parts delivery dates
Ensuring part availability from external and internal suppliers for new project start-ups (VFF, PVS, 0 series, SOP), model years/maintenance, and ongoing change projects
Initiating and coordinating special measures with suppliers, freight forwarders, and production in cases of supply problems, transport losses, damage, or supplier failures
Monitoring program readiness (initial sample target dates)
Coordinating with suppliers and internal departments for the use of new parts stands and scheduling
Organizing and coordinating parts provision for pre-series vehicles
Managing phase-out and start-up control during model maintenance in close cooperation with the Technical Change Service
Conducting cross-divisional coordination (e.g., with Quality management, technical development, suppliers, bill of materials, assembly, or technical office) for implementing planned change requests, change controls, and model maintenance points
Participating in standard appointments for developing resource planning of parts and changes
