Candidates should possess at least 10+ years of overall experience with 6+ years in DevOps or related roles, with a strong focus on Databricks, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server, and Informatica. Hands-on experience with Databricks and Terraform is required, along with proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitLab, and JIRA, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure and AWS, and expertise in hybrid cloud deployments. Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools and frameworks is expected, as well as scripting languages like Python and Notebooks. A strong understanding of Windows Server management and administration is also necessary, and familiarity with SAAS Profisee MDM is preferred.
As a Specialist DevOps Engineer, the role involves developing and implementing software solutions, working closely with colleagues in Bangalore and other Nasdaq teams. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab and JIRA, taking ownership of configuration management and automation frameworks, managing and optimizing infrastructure for Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server, Databricks, and Informatica, providing Windows Server administration, leading deployments on Azure and AWS platforms, establishing supervising frameworks for system health, initiating incident response and root cause analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying and implementing DevOps best practices, ensuring data governance, access control, and security compliance, and working with the Data Governance team on data quality and lineage.
