Requirements

  • 21+ years of age
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
  • Class C/Standard Operator Driver License
  • Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds (touch freight)

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate a truck
  • Manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule
  • Build relationships with each customer and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations by having a positive, friendly attitude
  • On an as-needed basis (if possessing Class A or B license), operate a tractor-trailer and meet all DOT driver qualification requirements
