Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong professional and spiritual leadership to the country team, assigning and delegating tasks as required
  • Develop and/or implement country strategy in line with World Relief’s programmatic competencies and integral mission, responding to crises in partnership with the church
  • Ensure implementation of integral mission and alignment of current programs with integral mission strategies
  • Provide overall leadership on proposal development with donors, government, foundations, and private donors
  • Develop appropriate institutional structures and strategies for long-term work, focusing on partnerships with in-country coordination systems, NGOs, churches, and national institutions
  • Hire and supervise World Relief staff in country, providing spiritual leadership and oversight to the team
  • Provide overall management and technical direction of World Relief’s programs in-country
  • Develop and strengthen appropriate institutional structures
