Requirements

BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent practical experience
6+ years of experience working with customers in pre-sales and post-sales technical roles
Track record of success selling data and/or analytics software to enterprise customers
Hands-on experience with Snowflake’s core platform, Streamlit, native apps framework, and Snowpark container services
Hands-on experience of full-stack development, from backend development to front-end UI/UX design
Knowledge of data formats or languages that manage data including SQL, JSON, and Python
Proficiency in Agile Devops and DataOps practices using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and Database Change Management (e.g. Liquibase, Flyway)
Ability and flexibility to travel to work with customers on-site

Responsibilities

Be a technical expert on all aspects of Snowflake
Guide customers through the process of building applications on Snowflake and develop methodologies to improve the application development process
Deploy Snowflake following best practices, including ensuring knowledge transfer so that customers are properly enabled
Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate and communicate implementation best practices on Snowflake technology
Maintain deep understanding of existing application development frameworks and how to position and rationalize Snowflake in relation to them
Work with System Integrator consultants at a deep technical level to successfully position and deploy Snowflake in customer environments
Provide guidance on how to resolve customer-specific technical challenges
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing
Offer support to other members of the Professional Services team develop their expertise
