Requirements

Hands-on experience handling LC-MS and/or GC-MS
Detailed understanding of qualitative and quantitative analytical chemistry
Experience in requirement analysis, test design, test execution, and defect tracking
Motivated and independent work proficiency

Understanding and ability to apply statistical mathematics
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of software test methodologies
Familiarity with entire SDLC process, particularly in an Agile environment

BS/MS in Bio-Informatics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related subject area
Strong experience of 4+ years as a Manual Software Tester with Life Sciences background

Responsibilities

Work closely with global scrum teams (in Germany, India, Slovakia, US) to develop testing materials that ensure software products meet the specifications
Participate in all phases of the product development life cycle from product definition to final release
Conduct testing of small molecule or proteomics software applications in Agile software development methodology
Build and follow Test Plans, and Test Cases, establish pass/fail test criteria, document issues, perform final verification of defect resolutions
Participate in the design, development, and implementation of new software products as well as the maintenance and improvement of existing software
Author project documents and status reports
Participate in innovative technology research
