Candidates should possess a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and have a career interest in software quality assurance. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes is required, along with experience in writing comprehensive test plans and test cases. An understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes is also necessary.
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback. They will create detailed test plans and test cases, estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities, and thoroughly track bugs. Responsibilities also include performing regression testing, developing testing processes, liaising with internal teams, monitoring debugging results, investigating software issues, training users on solutions, and tracking quality assurance metrics.
