Responsibilities

  • Build simulation software in programming languages/environments such as Mathworks (MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow), Fortran, C/C++
  • Develop accurate system models that are large in scale, highly sophisticated, with many interdependencies
  • Develop lower fidelity models designed to run in real time whilst maintaining accurate representation of weapon systems
  • Work in Agile practices across multiple projects using collaborative tools
  • Integrate subsystem models and design data with other departments and companies
  • Participate in rotational placements in Simulation & Modelling departments and potentially outside the department
  • Study towards a fully funded BSc (Hons) degree with one virtual study day per week and occasional on-site university sessions
