Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field along with at least 8 years of experience in building and managing large-scale, highly available, distributed web applications. Proficiency in a high-level programming language such as Go, Python, or JavaScript is required, along with strong AWS experience and a solid background in Linux/Unix and networking. Experience with managing large databases and infrastructure as code using Terraform is essential, as well as familiarity with observability tools like ELK or Prometheus.
The Site Reliability Engineer will analyze, design, develop, maintain, and improve infrastructure to enhance automation capabilities. Responsibilities include automating deployment processes, improving development testing efficiency, and managing cloud developer environments. The role involves participating in cross-team initiatives to drive engineering best practices, conducting code reviews, and providing education on systems architecture design. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with the InfoSec team to ensure compliance and security of the platform.
