Requirements

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with Java or Scala, or equivalent experience. A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required, along with AWS cloud experience including S3, EFS, MSK, ECS, and EMR. Experience with RDBMS and Jenkins CI/CD pipeline is also necessary. Knowledge of Hadoop/Spark and data formats like Parquet and CSV is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement the Kafka ecosystem using technologies such as Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, KSQL, Attunity, and Schema Registry. They will contribute to building the DevOps strategy for hosting and managing microservice and connector infrastructure in AWS cloud. Responsibilities also include designing and implementing big data technologies around Apache Hadoop, Kafka streaming, No SQL, Java/J2EE, and distributed computing platforms, as well as participating in Agile development projects for enterprise-level systems component design and implementation.
