Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of experience with test automation at all levels (unit/integration/API/E2E) and test infrastructure
  • Expertise with the Playwright framework
  • At least four (4) years of direct work experience writing high-quality production-level code in Python (C#, JavaScript are an added bonus)
  • Deep understanding of other types of testing such as performance, security, accessibility and more
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with building QA/testing infrastructure (e.g., setting test environments, automating performance/security testing tools, developing QA-related telemetry and reports)
  • Experience testing complex web applications (bonus for WebGL)
  • Expertise in manual testing to cover gaps in test automation
  • Self-motivated, high-impact, and driven individual

Responsibilities

  • Learn everything there is to know about aviation maintenance planning through onboarding
  • Lead the design and scaling of API/E2E test automation
  • Architect other test and quality infrastructure to improve product quality (perf, security, mobile, etc.)
  • Coordinate bug bashes and manually test the product where automation gaps exist
  • Play a crucial role in new feature development through design feedback, proposing acceptance criteria, and testing
  • Deliver reliable, high-quality, expert-level code with speed and care
  • Utilize monitoring/APM tools to analyze metrics, investigate issues, and propose changes to improve performance and user experience
  • Investigate complex customer issues to identify bugs, verify reproduction steps, and propose fixes
  • Serve as a technical mentor and subject matter expert to guide QA practices and raise the overall quality bar
