Requirements

Strong expertise with AWS or equivalent public cloud offerings including: ECS/Fargate or equivalent for container orchestration, VPC networking and security groups, IAM and secrets management, CloudWatch or equivalent for monitoring and alerting, Security best practices for cloud infrastructure
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Pulumi preferred, or Terraform/CloudFormation)
Proficiency in TypeScript, Go or similar for infrastructure code
Experience with Docker and containerisation
3-5 years commercial experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles

Responsibilities

Design and maintain cloud infrastructure to support reliable service deployment and scaling across multiple environments
Development of security controls and policies, including IAM configuration, network security, and compliance monitoring
Work to implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities
Contribute to infrastructure design decisions, focusing on reliability, security, and cost efficiency
Contribute to and improve the standards for software engineering, such as code quality, automated testing, documentation / knowledge sharing, and broader team processes
