Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience supporting infrastructure within a machine learning environment. Experience in developing tools to diagnose ML infrastructure problems and failures is required, along with familiarity with cloud platforms such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes, and Cloud Storage. Proficiency in working with GPUs is also necessary.
The Software Engineer, Machine Learning Infrastructure will provide infrastructure support to ML research and product development. They will build tooling to diagnose cluster issues and hardware failures, monitor deployments, manage experiments, and generally support research efforts. Additionally, they will maximize GPU allocation and utilization for both serving and training.
