Requirements

Candidates should possess 3+ years of QA/Development experience, with at least 2 years of Java development experience. They should have proven experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium and TestNG/JUnit, along with a deep understanding of Software QA methodologies and approaches in a software company with short release cycles. Experience writing test cases covering various testing types, including sanity, negative, compatibility, and concurrency tests, and working with databases like MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server is also required. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and facilitation skills, are essential, along with being a good team player who is independent, fast-learning, and takes ownership to resolve issues. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience is needed.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer in Test will contribute to the automation test coverage using the built-in-house framework, review requirement specifications and technical design documentation to provide feedback, create and improve testing-related documentation, identify and verify bugs, participate in functional, system, integration, and regression testing activities, and work with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and other QA Engineers in an Agile team environment. They will also develop deep expertise in the product and contribute to delivering a high-quality SaaS product.
