Position Summary: Join Walmart as a Software Engineer III in the Full Stack Customer Care Technology team within our Global Technology EBS. This role is instrumental in modernizing and transforming our customer care platform, contributing to solutions that impact over 240 million global customers.

About the Customer Care Team: Our customer care team focuses on providing exceptional, cutting-edge agent tools. We have developed a custom CRM solution and innovative guided workflows to deliver personalized solutions and ensure a seamless experience for agents and customers, enabling top-notch customer care.

What You'll Do:

  • Participate in the development of full stack features, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability from user interfaces to backend services.
  • Build advanced and reusable ReactJS components and high-performance web applications using Redux, TypeScript, NodeJS, and related technologies.
  • Implement backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, adhering to best practices in distributed systems.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, staff engineers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure technical alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Enhance code quality through code reviews, mentoring, and implementing best practices in unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, guiding root cause analysis.

What You Will Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in full stack software development.
  • Expertise in ReactJS, Redux, TypeScript, ES6, NodeJS, and front-end performance optimization.
  • Strong backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST API design, and microservices.
  • Experience in building distributed systems with Kafka or other messaging frameworks.
  • Cloud experience (preferably Azure) and a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
  • Solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms or customer support tools.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and observability tools.
