Strong knowledge of data structures, database concepts, and algorithms is necessary, along with familiarity with observability concepts and GraphQL APIs. Experience with event-driven architecture is highly desirable.
As a Software Engineer III, you will independently design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. You will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, troubleshoot complex issues, drive continuous improvement of development processes, conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor junior engineers. Furthermore, you will stay current with emerging technologies, contribute to OpenGov’s engineering culture, and lead technical challenges.
