Resourceful and versatile Software Engineer

Comfortable iterating towards solutions and collaborating closely with colleagues in Customer Data Integration (CDI), Customer Success (CS), Product, SRE, InfoSec, Data Engineering, and Analytics
Experience or familiarity with microservices architecture using Python, EC2, EKS, and database technologies
Ability to build integrations into APIs and use custom integration mechanisms to deliver utility data to customers
Passionate about applying AI to decarbonization and expanding renewable energy adoption
Able to work in a hybrid remote-first approach with Chennai as the anchor location
Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Co-Pilot, Gemini) for code generation, analysis, and review
Adhere to AI best practices, including prompt engineering, iterative refinement, validation of AI-generated solutions, and prioritizing semantic understanding
Participate in a culture of continuous experimentation and retesting as technology evolves

Responsibilities

Build integrations between Arcadia products on behalf of customers
Customize the data delivery pipeline
Integrate with APIs provided by Arcadia and third-parties
Contribute to AI-first approach by leveraging AI for enhanced productivity, code quality, and development processes
Participate in building mission-critical AI data pipelines that adapt to changing technology and augment manual processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CDI, CS, Product, SRE, InfoSec, Data Engineering, and Analytics
Influence team practices for building and staying relevant in a fast-paced environment
