Candidates should possess strong backend development experience and a passion for solving complex data challenges at scale. Experience with Python, Scala, Ruby on Rails, Airflow, Databricks, Spark, HTTP APIs, AWS services (Lambda, ECS, SQS, ElastiCache, Sagemaker, Cloudwatch), Datadog, and Terraform is required. Familiarity with machine learning, data engineering, and distributed systems is also necessary.
The Software Engineer II will design, build, and optimize distributed systems for metadata extraction, enrichment, and processing. They will leverage LLMs for summarization, classification, extraction, and enrichment within metadata pipelines. Responsibilities include collaborating with ML engineers and product managers, optimizing existing systems for performance and scalability, and ensuring data accuracy and quality through automated validation and monitoring. Participation in code reviews is also expected.
