Requirements

United States Citizenship and current TS/SCI CI Poly level U.S. Government security clearance
At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava) and a Bachelor's in related field; or 3 years relevant experience with Master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
Strong working knowledge and experience developing Java based software capabilities
Must be able to work on customer site in Fort Meade, MD a minimum of 3 days a week (hybrid)
Experience in designing enterprise APIs
Experience in RESTful web services
Experience in Microservices architecture
Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms
Experience with the agile software lifecycle
Proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently and in a team setting
Experience with the Linux operating system
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven)
Inquisitive nature, responsiveness, excellent testing skills, strong troubleshooting skills, and ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and implementing complex software capabilities for computer-based systems
Working closely with other engineers to create software solutions that meet client needs
Staying up-to-date with modern tools and technologies
Delivering high-quality software solutions in a dynamic, collaborative, fast-paced team environment
