Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, with expertise in Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries such as Spring and Guava, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. A current Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance is required, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance, and U.S. citizenship is mandatory. Experience with enterprise APIs, RESTful web services, Microservices architecture, Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms, and the Linux operating system are also required.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software capabilities for computer-based systems, working closely with other talented engineers to create software solutions that meet client needs. You will monitor and interpret changes in employment legislation across North America and develop HR policies to ensure compliance, conduct audits, deliver training, and advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies. You will troubleshoot issues, work under pressure with multiple deadlines, and contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team while maintaining a hybrid work environment, including occasional travel to Columbia, MD. Other duties as assigned will be performed.
