Requirements

Degree qualified in an Engineering (including General, Mechanical, Manufacturing/Production, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Electrical/Electronic, and Software) or Computing, Maths, Physics or Astronomy discipline
Right to work in the UK (unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visa)
British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship
Capable of achieving required medical and national security clearance, including as a minimum HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks

Responsibilities

Work closely with other teams in a variety of development stages within weapons systems, including both embedded and front-end software development on platforms such as Windows and Linux, utilising C, C++, C# and Java
Ensure the functional and technical robustness of project deliverables
Own responsibility for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
Work with other departments within the company to learn a general overview of the business
Participate in technical training, four challenging work placements, and development activities
Gain exposure to all aspects of a software development lifecycle
