The Software Engineer will tackle technically challenging problems by building exceptional products and enhancing processes, focusing on integrating LLMs, embeddings, and other AI technologies. They will own the end-to-end delivery of features, including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and customer rollout, while maintaining high engineering standards. Responsibilities include developing customer-focused applications by building new features, improving existing ones, and creating new products, utilizing AI/ML advances to enhance products and user experiences. Collaboration with Product Managers, Designers, and Platform Engineers is essential, as is rapid prototyping and iterative development based on performance and user feedback. The role involves ensuring core functionality is stable, scalable, and well-maintained, continuously growing technical skills, mentoring other engineers, and supporting highly-available services. Gathering immediate customer feedback to continuously improve products is also a key responsibility.
