Requirements

Candidates should possess 5 to 8+ years of professional experience in Front End or Full Stack engineering, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong judgment, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset are required, as is familiarity with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security, and usability. Experience architecting and building 0-1 services in a large-scale production setting is preferred, along with open communication skills and a desire for transparency.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will help guide long-term technical direction and vision for maintaining and scaling web products, build functional UI elements from design mocks, work with Product, Design, and Engineering to implement a functional, user-friendly, and delightful experience, build a unified styles library for use across all products, enthusiastically collaborate with a small team, own and plan projects for long-term impact, help define and evolve the tech stack as the product scales, and help us hire a world-class team and mentor new team members.
