Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (completed or in final year)
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in software development
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and programming principles
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript (ES6) and React or a similar modern SPA framework
  • Solid understanding of CSS and experience with modern CSS frameworks or UI libraries
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and backend integrations
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and enhance web-based single-page applications (SPAs) with delightful, accessible, and user-centric interfaces
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand internal user needs and deliver impactful solutions
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while continuously improving our frontend developer experience
  • Participate actively in technical discussions, applying best practices and sharing learnings
  • Maintain clear documentation, ensure quality through testing, and help troubleshoot bugs
  • Develop a deep understanding of Coursera’s frontend infrastructure and contribute to technical excellence within the team
